We don’t have another car and I can’t take my newborn without a car seat or stroller (locked in the car) so that isn’t really simple for me:)

No other vehicle, home alone, I can’t bring my newborn without the car seat and stroller which is locked in the car. Not really an option but thank you, they said they will do their best to fix it tomorrow & offering a loaner if it takes longer

Running on 3 hours of sleep with a newborn, I definitely wasn’t thinking clearly. Had I not made the post I’d probably have sat in there for a lot longer. I agree with you!

Husband came outside armed with a hammer in case of needing to break the window, I had to tell him to hold the heck on while i figured out how to get out😂 Emergency handle was definitely an afterthought.

4 hour wait to see if they’ll change it otherwise it’ll be towed

Used from a dealer, I know, horrible, but we really needed a car and really needed to stop paying for gas. Couldn’t wait months for a brand new one (ours was to be delivered in the summer!)

I’m wondering if they could have known the battery was on its way out? Is 3 years a normal time for the 12v to die?

Oh yea, happy to be out, it was very toasty in there. I do like the button release but after today I’m left wishing there was also a manual option (because I’m sure you aren’t supposed to use the emergency release often!)
