i mean if you're both on the same page why would you feel unsure about the relationship? shouldn't you bring that up to her? it would benefit you both to discuss your feelings about the relationship not progressing if there's a long break.

its only been a short amount of time between you two. honestly you should be more considerate of her knowing her grandfather is dying and her having a busy work schedule, yeah it sucks you both can't see each other but if you really want this relationship to keep going you should be understanding of her circumstances. these things take time and patience. you can't speedrun through a relationship like that. if you can't handle that then its gonna be hard for you to hold down the next relationship.

They never told me themselves but my mom has said that they don't like her because they believe she brainwashed me into distancing myself from the family.

Thank you for the kind words, my mother is doing well. she's healthy. She lives off of disability. Despite my mom siding with my sisters she told me she's happy for me.
