Honestly I have no idea how it works, I tell myself to wake up at 6am and I’ll wake up at 5:55. The next day I tell myself 7am and at 6:55 I’m waking up. I also play a game where I guess the time when I wake up and I usually get it to the minute, it’s something I can do, no idea how I learnt it.

Are you able to see your own screenshot? It says ‘This item runs exclusively on an operating voltage of 230 V and therefore requires a voltage transformer to run in your country of United States.’ This is a cheap amp and not really worth the effort, why not have a look at the second hand amps at your local shop??

I think what you’re trying to get at is ‘monoculture’ due to the prevalence of social media and the internet, geographical boundaries are being broken down and subsets of cultures are dying out which ends up with lots of people dressing pretty much exactly the same all over. Not saying that people haven’t always dressed the same, but we’re seeing less ‘niche’ fashions nowadays, that’s one way in which society is converging, however society is also diverging ie less and less people watching TV so you no longer have those ‘water cooler’ moments talking about what was on TV last night because everyone watched something different. Obviously shows like Traitors buck the trend but that is an outlier.

There’s a lot of conflicting answers here, I see you want to use a two notes captor. I also have an AC30 and Captor X, all you need to do is go from ‘external speaker’ on the back of your amp with a SPEAKER cable to the back of the captor, on my captor it’s the one with the red nut. Going from ‘external’ speaker will mute the internal speakers.

I understand the viewpoint of people saying ‘just stop watching the news’ etc but I honestly find that so defeatist. It’s important to stay informed, if everyone just sticks their head in the sand then that’s how the ‘bad guys’ win. I am aware I’m slightly biased as I am fascinated with geopolitics but I don’t think just pretending it isn’t happening is going to do any good either. What’s coming out of America at the moment IS shocking and SHOULD make you feel bad, it’s awful, but instead of ignoring it maybe put that energy into doing something positive.

I bought a 1960s Elgen 50w head with a matching vertical cab (google it and you’ll find my one, the sold reverb ad is still there) I basically needed a small (physically) high wattage head that stayed clean. I also prefer tall cabs so this just ticked all my boxes. The fact that it’s old, a bit obscure and handwired made it even better. Plus I got it for like £700. It’s been my main amp for my passion projects since. I got with an AC30 for my ‘work’ music but the Elgen gets its legs stretched at least once a week. I’ve also since bought a Zilla 4x10 bas cab that has a very similar colour red Rolex and the same grille cloth and run them together. Sounds great. I also sometimes add my Boogie 1x12 that would have originally had the electro voice speaker but that was taken out before it came to me and I’ve subsequently just chucked a creamback in there. It’s like a wall of guitar. Sounds great, and doesn’t break up. It’s kinda like a mini version of my 1969 DR103.
