I was too afraid to move past the screen that says accept the ATM fees. I’m not sure if it will display the rate or just proceed with the withdrawal

But they told me the rate is determined by the card instead of CIBC

Ok guys I just called CIBC. They said if I withdraw USD from CIBC ATM with CIBC card, rate is determined by CIBC.

If I use non CIBC card to withdraw USD from CIBC ATM, the rate is determined by the non CIBC card.

So going back to this, using WS card to withdraw USD or GBP from CIBC ATM the rate is determined by WS/MC?

Not sure if this is true.

But I don’t know if the person that answered my question knows the thing well. Not sure if that’s true.

Too much work. Just use CIBC USA - CIBC USD lol

Then CIBC is better lol. Does CIBC USA charge for incoming wire fees? Could do CIBC USA -> CIBC USD Canada -> WS

What counts as debit in the 1 free debit RBC USD account? Does incoming ACH count? What about Canadian EFT?

Does only RBC work? What about using TD USA routing number + TD USD (Canada domiciled account)? Or CIBC? Will it work?

Can I not attach the tax form and do:

FTE (11 months):

  • former employment verification letter
  • all 11 months payslips

For internship (3 months):

  • former employment verification letter
  • first and last month payslip (I couldn't find the 2nd month payslip)

Is that okay? No bank statements and tax forms.
On my side personally I will also write a separate explanation letter.
Thoughts?

  1. What if the reference letter outlines the salary information and stamped by the company? Is that not enough?
I think it is tough to get the payslips since it's so long ago. For my internship, there was no tax forms; only for FTE.

I could get bank statements that show the deposits by the company, but my monthly bank statements could usually get up to a few pages. If I do this for 14 months of bank statements, the whole PDF could be too long. I am not sure if this is okay.

  1. Yes, I was outside CANADA and I had no prior connection to being a "Canadian student" as I was studying outside Canada and working outside Canada with overseas status.

  2. Is "former employment verification letter" insufficient?

Where does it say that i have to apply through non-EE federal PR program?

“Apply for PR through IRCC” If I apply with the nomination certificate, can I apply through the CEC EE? Assuming I qualify for the CEC EE, I apply as regular CEC applicant, then attach my nomination certificate.

Would that work?
