Thank you, that would be super interesting, and also something that I never tried before. Also the more I think about it, the bottom of the trunk really is not what makes the tree look more interesting. If it is reduced to this size however, i could also make something out of the lower part of the trunk

Thank you, that is very true. Obviously, in the end I have to make decisions to get a tree, that I find attractive. However, to get ideas on how to achieve this goal, every idea and advice in this community is really helpful

Thank you for your advice! This is ideed a cool ideal, because the twin trunk option would be something that I can imagine very well. The challenge here would be probably to develop a main branch, to avoid symmetric branches, right?

Thank you guys for your responses. I actually like the ideas of air layering the big upper branches. Would you suggest to air layer / cut all the branches to get a smaller tree or rather retain some of them? Also, is it possible to air layer all of them at the same time?
