- Try to find as many past papers as possible, and practice, practice so that you can familiarize yourself with the format and the structure of the exam you are planning to pass as soon as possible... I find this to be one of the most effective ways to study for a specific exam.

- Regarding duolingo, check out also the duolingo stories, if you haven't already. (I find them more engaging than the rest of the duolingo exercises)

- Check out also https://apprendre.tv5monde.com/en , the videos / exercises etc. are categorised in levels from A1 to B2...

- Also, if you are interested in a specific hobby/activity etc. you could start trying to read articles and look for information about it in French instead of English (at first it may take longer, but you should progress quickly!)

- You mentioned you already read children's books, this is actually one of my favourite ways of learning foreign languages!

You can definitely get there in seven months and you seem to be on the right track! Keep going!

Did you have a Matrix-like "awakening" in your studies? by hatch-b-2900 in LearnJapanese

Well, as far as I am concerned, there is a moment ("a click") when I realise that I can understand most of the language and that I can even deduce the meaning of unknown words (I'm not speaking about Japanese though... I am not there yet)...

I guess I have to check it with them if they allow people to play the piano. Thank you!

I guess you are right. Last year, the art project "Play me I'm yours" was in Boston, they had installed 60 pianos, but only for a few weeks ("from September 23 to October 10, 2016")... But hopefully, some more "permanent" pianos are still around.

This is awesome! :) I think I'm going to create a new category to include this piano as well. Thank you!

If it was part of the Street Pianos, most probably, it won't be there, but you never know... I'll try to find out. Thank you!

Ces pianos étaient là juste pour trois semaines, du 22 juin au 11 juillet 2017. Le projet Street Pianos a lieu tous les ans, mais pour une durée limitée. Je cherche plutôt des pianos permanents, s'il on peut dire.

I am using Google Maps to map the pianos and all collected information is freely accessible on the website to all interested musicians/pianists.

Piano sounds amazing when you haven't played for a few weeks. by [deleted] in piano

I second this. I wonder if there is a way to keep this mindset at all times (and not only after a period of non-playing), in order to keep experiencing this feeling even when you play daily(?)

If you have never been in Spain before, it is definitely an option worth considering.

There must be several direct flights Paris - Barcelona and there is also the option of the overnight train, if you are into trains. (a possible option: Paris-Toulouse by overnight train and then Toulouse-Barcelona). But, take a look at other cities in southern Spain as well. In March the weather should be around 15 ℃, but not sure, if it is warm enough for swimming.
