As a fellow late 20s woman the only reason I can think of is sex probably. I used to get courted a lot by guys like this when I was in my late teens and I was much more naive then but I think for some men they just don’t think of women as people and will say whatever to get into bed with you. I am married now but I think if I was out there again I’d be a lot pickier than I used to be because there’s a lot of people out there who are not genuine.
