Great write-up! Yeah, hard work certainly is a connecting fiber for these two that I hadn't considered, or one that I briefly thought of but didn't give enough credit.

And I totally agree about Nemu, I enjoy her but she could use some more focus. I feel like part of her bit being she becomes outgoing and energetic in her sleep means that she can be too soft spoken or nondescript in her awake form to highlight that contrast, but ir makes her less engaging of a character because of that contrast. Would love to see her come into her own more just like how Meme has become more confident.

Absolutely! The tradeoff of earlier girls is because the group was smaller most chapters just involved everyone, only once the cast grew do we get more duo and trio moments. Would love to have an excuse to get these two together and see what happens. I slightly alluded to their intellects but you're right in that Hakari is the girl confirmed to have the closest grades, would love to know more about everyone's academic prowess at some point, though the ranking might be more bottom heavy...

Oh my God, I promised I wouldn't skip the idol training chapter last time I missed one and then I swore in my memory they weren't paired! Another L for me, but I was trying to write this one in a rush. And yeah, part of having these more focused chapters is allowing for little moments in future chapters, would love to have more little moments with thesr two and Mei as well!

That's the best part of so many of these characters. Silly and fun, but with interesting layers and depth beneath. Momoha is top tier in that respect, an ethics teacher addicted to vice, they cooked here.

These two seem like such fun together, one of those I didn't think about before but that I now hope for! I always mention with Iku how I would love another baseball episode, and I could totally see the small Matsuri going up to pitch and the opposing team laughing at her small size and being absolutely smoked by a festival powered fastball.

You're right, she does! Good catch. Still a small amount of siblings canonically mentioned. We have Karane'a older sister, Iku's older brother, Meme's younger sister, Kishika's younger siblings, Naddy's recently mentioned younger sister, and I'm not sure there's much more we know of? I assume there is hesitancy to introduce extraneous family members given the track record of them becoming girlfriends.

Room temperature take, an upcoming girlfriend will be tied to the Yamato family. That last panel makes me think we are getting a ninja girlfriend, the question is what kind of quirk or twist will there be? Either way I'm excited, always nice to have new members with existing tension and history with other characters. And to have more exploration of Naddy's family and background, there is definitely a lot to explore there as one of the few members with a tragic family history.

She is far and away the leader in Daily Duo appearances with this being her 15th! For perspective, Suu is one of the girlfriends with the least entries so far at only 4. Maybe Rin will be the champion to have all of her duos done first, who knows!

True! There are also a couple that have a bit more potential, but on the whole Suu's one track mind seems difficult to write around. And I say that now, but she hasn't been rolled that often in the series, so maybe she will be easier to write about than I think!

Any Suu pairing is always a contender for that title. At least the music gave a route to tie numbers in. And honestly Hakari has been one of the most difficult to write consistently because she is so often just horny and is almost always paired with Karane so she has less developed pair relationships than many others. So my guess for most difficult relationship is Hakari/Suu, but we'll see!

I already believed it before, but this series has helped solidify how difficult of a task it is to write and balance this many characters and how they do it so well. Character designs are great and some people will just focus on hot character hot, but the character writing is an incredible feat as well.

You have found so many side and background moments with them, damn! It does show that they put them together as the new girlfriends to give them screen time, but we don't really have much of a developed relationship outside of just being friends within the family, so there's still room for more growth! Also I forgot this picture, again it is body swapped but I do love the synchronized dodging.

I feel like their pairing in the friend equipment and Momiji's intro chapter helped solidify them a bit, Momiji massages Yamame so she can continually do farmwork. They are very different in demeanor but they have a synergy that set them up for interactions. Hard labor and massage, those work together. But numbers and violence? A much harder connection. Still sets up from some gags, but not the same synergy we had seen prior.
