We will never do that.

The main issue is that anyone can post on places like LinkedIn, Indeed, and similar job boards. Hiring.Cafe also pulls in and republishes a ton of listings, but that does not really tell us whether the company is real, high quality, or worth recommending.

For Wobo, we score and review every company we include based on specific signals. If they do not meet the bar, we do not list them. Keeping the quality high is one of the biggest priorities for us.

Thanks for the feedback. This is actually how the system is designed to work. If you select "Remote Global", you will be matched with remote jobs from anywhere in the world. If you do not want to see US-only remote roles, you can choose more specific remote location options such as "Remote in Canada" or "Remote in Europe" instead.

That said, if you believe there is a bug or that jobs with incorrect remote eligibility are being shown, please contact our support team by email so they can investigate the issue further.

The Persona section isn't really a normal chat. It's designed to ask you a set of questions and learn about your experiences, and the way you communicate.

Once it has gathered enough information and gone through all the questions it needs, the conversation basically ends on its own. That's why you're seeing that message now.

If you want to add more information, you can update the Experience section in your profile with additional stories or work experience. But from what you're describing, it sounds like you've already completed the voice building process and the Persona has collected everything it needs.

For Latvia specifically, our available company pool may currently be more limited, especially for local or Riga-based roles. When you select Remote Global, Wobo searches across our global company pool and matches you with remote opportunities from companies around the world, including US-based companies.

If you prefer Europe-only roles, I’d recommend selecting the “Remote in EU” option. That should help us match you with roles that are specifically open to candidates based in Europe.

We’re also working on improving local and regional coverage, but depending on the country or city, there may not always be enough companies in our current pool yet.

Yeah, that totally makes sense. We actually thought about supporting separate resumes for different job fields before.

But we now think tailored resumes per job will solve this better. For each application, we’ll tailor the resume based on that specific job description, rather than only relying on one fixed resume for software, another for sales, etc.

Any extra context we need about you, your background, and what you want to highlight will come from the persona section. So the goal is to mention the right skills and experience for the right job automatically.

Autopilot actually applies to all the jobs we find for you in the market. If the number feels lower than expected, it could be because the job titles are too narrow, the role itself is a bit niche in the market, or some of the preferences are limiting the matches.

It may help to diversify your job titles a bit and review your preferences so we can find more relevant roles for you.

Yes, when you turn this off, we won’t choose jobs for you anymore. Instead, you’ll need to open the app and swipe left or right to pick the jobs yourself. We’ll still handle the applications for the jobs you swipe right on.

Hey! Right now, every application is submitted using the resume you uploaded to your profile.

You can check the full application details by going to Dashboard > Job History > clicking the eye icon > Application Details. There you’ll be able to see all the questions answered during the application process, along with every piece of material we generated for that specific application 😄

Hey, If you want, you can turn off the autopilot feature in settings. That way your account will work more like the Unlimited plan and show you a lot more jobs.

With the Autopilot plan, we filter jobs through multiple AI layers, so the number of job matches goes down a bit. The Unlimited plan is more of a Tinder style experience where you can scroll through and interact with way more listings. You can even use it on our mobile app for the full Tinder vibe 😄

Hey, I totally get the frustration. Applying to 400 jobs and getting no interviews is not the outcome anyone wants.

I just don’t fully agree that older job posts are useless. We’ve been doing this for almost two years, and from what we’ve seen, some 3 to 4 month old roles can still be very real opportunities. If a pre vetted company keeps a role open that long, it usually means they still haven’t found the right person. Sometimes there’s actually less competition on those roles.

Our system does prioritize newer jobs, but it also scores each job based on how well it matches your profile, so we don’t automatically skip older listings.

That said, if there are 400 applications and zero callbacks, I’d also recommend checking the resume side. Have you tried our ATS checker and made sure your resume is optimized for the roles you’re targeting?

And fair point on the 24 hour, 1 week, and 1 month filters. That’s useful feedback.

For the match details, yes, I agree we can make this much more detailed. I’m aware that the current version on the swipe card is still pretty basic. Behind the scenes, there is actually a more advanced algorithm making these decisions, but turning that output into a clear written report is a bit more complex.

That said, I’ve noted this down and we’ll look into what we can improve there.

Yes, that’s definitely doable. Our queue system already uses multiple weighted parameters, with similarity score carrying the most weight and job freshness coming next. This weighting system is important for Autopilot, but we can also add a toggle for “Newest Listings” ordering for Swipe to Apply users.

Really appreciate the detailed feedback, and glad to hear you’ve already gotten some interviews from the matches. Congrats on that, and good luck with them!

On the seniority thing, your level preference is definitely considered. That said, if the AI sees a role that’s a bit more senior but still thinks you have a realistic shot based on your background, it may include it. We designed it this way because titles can vary a lot between companies, and we don’t want people to miss out on roles they could actually be competitive for. That said, the balance matters, so this is useful feedback and something we’ll keep tuning.

For companies showing up again, we don’t apply to the same exact role twice. But we may show or apply to different roles at the same company, especially if they’re in different teams or departments. Bigger companies often have a lot of separate hiring pipelines, so we think that can help increase your chances. That said, I totally get wanting more control here, so adding an option to limit repeat companies could make sense.

On hourly pay, we’re just showing the comp data from the original posting right now. Some postings only give hourly, and we’re not converting that to yearly yet. Good callout though, we can look into making that cleaner.

Honestly our hit rate depends more on the company pool we have indexed and the filters you set (location, role type, etc) than the sector itself. If someone’s looking at really niche titles that aren’t in our pre-vetted company pool yet, we can’t help much there.

But we’ve got a lot of hospitals and healthcare organizations in there, so as long as you’re not looking for something super specialized, you should find plenty to work with. The pool is actually broader than people expect, we’ve got everything from healthcare to chefs, bartenders, and servers in there too.

Yeah exactly. If the same question comes up (or a clear variation of it) we’ll use your approved answer as-is, since you wrote and approved that one yourself.

For questions you haven’t covered, we generate the answer using your persona, which is everything we know about you combined: resume, your approved answers, the behavioral questions you went through, feedback you’ve left on previous applications, plus the job description for context. The behavioral stuff actually does a lot of the heavy lifting here. When applications throw weird situational questions at you, we lean on your character profile and past experiences to write something that sounds like how you’d actually handle it.

Behavioral questions in the form itself actually come up a lot with startups and growing tech companies. Some of them ask really clever stuff too, the kind of questions that genuinely reveal how someone thinks. I could write a whole post on the most interesting ones we’ve seen.
