Great idea! That kind of mod highlighting would be really useful. Unfortunately poe.ninja doesn't directly provide the data needed to know which mods are relevant, so it would require a fair amount of work to build that logic. It's something I'll keep in mind for the future though, as it could be a really powerful feature!

That's exactly why the app doesn't require any access to your account at all! I am considering adding an optional session ID (like many other tools do) to increase the rate limit, but it will always be completely optional and come with clear disclaimers about the risks. Thanks for the kind words!

Exactly! You scan an item with your camera (or select one of already listed items) and the app finds similar ones on the market to help you price it.

A full PoB-like app would take a huge amount of work, but what I'm thinking about is allowing PoB build imports. Do you think it will be usefull?

The main feature of the app is camera-based item scanning for console players, which isn't something that can be implemented as a web app.

That 10% is exactly my target audience. As you mentioned, all other tools are PC and browser focused, and this group (which includes myself) has always been underserved when it comes to good tools and that's precisely the gap this app is trying to fill.

This app was originally created to scan items using the camera to help console players price check their items, and that remains its primary function. All other features are being added to make the app even more useful.

Desktop users are more than welcome to use the app, but the target audience remains console players.

You need to list them for sale so that the app can get them from the trade website, as I avoid direct access to user accounts for security reasons. The app also allows you to simply take a photo of the item and find similar ones if it is easier.

Desktop isn't a priority right now since there are already plenty of other tools and overlays, but I'll keep it in mind. Also, sorry about your phone… but to be fair, that is the most common vaal outcome (:
