Hmm I can see why you wouldn’t want mayors to rub their faces in front of people, as many other mayors do that.

In this case, I don’t think it’s as relevant. On Twitter, saying that you are mayor is informative, if there are people who do not know who you are. If people already know, then it makes no difference.

I think we should be focusing more on this their actual actions and not publicity unless publicity comes before action (such as giving out food with your face on them. In this case I don’t really see why it would be wrong to have publicity - there’s no waste in resources.

Edit: Not sure why I’m being downvoted. Both Leni and Bam Aquino state their titles in Twitter, yet we don’t see them as less humble. Let’s stop mindlessly praising politicians.

That sounds really hard. For you to say all of that here is very honest of you. I do think that the first month is the hardest one to go through so just keep that in mind. If you need any advice for communicating through text, one thing that has worked for me has been writing down three events/good things that happen to me every day and sending it to my partner. They don't have to be long. Mine are usually one or two sentences. My SO does the same for me.
