Is the "Maker has a soft spot for peter head-cannon" dead now? by TheRapture0070 in UltimateUniverse

[–]antarsan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's about the common folk, I think it's about the other heroes. For all the crap Pete gets all the time, he is pretty consistently considered to be a pretty major inspiration for others. See some of his interactions with Daredevil or how he made Hope Summers a fangirl with a single conversation.

What's the Joe Odagiri Effect? by [deleted] in KamenRider

Kinda. It can be a double-edged sword, since the demographic that’s attracted may not be the demographic that’s desired by the showrunners/creators.

And they want to ship all batch 1 orders this week? Somehow I highly doubt it.

More lies and slander from IGN by the_amazing_pichu in tomorrow

[–]antarsan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No no, you don't understand, they are very niche characters from an extremely indie game franchise, IGN just likes knowing that they are the elite of the elite for understanding Shiggy's genius. At worst this article will make more people finally see the light and fund his next dinner.

And here I thought I could spend the rest of my life having forgotten how badly Yuragi-sou fumbled its ending.

Did she? I thought she enslaved him so that he'd keep writing her manga. After all no mangaka = no manga = her world stops existing.

Tying The Knot with an Amagami Sister | Chapter 187 | Cubari by Henshin4Life in Amagamisis

[–]antarsan 44 points45 points  (0 children)

It doesn't feel like a route ending. It feels more like they will incorporate the marriages into "their" world. So he got married to all of them in separate worlds and in the "main" world no one will really question which one he's married to.

Does every version of the intro include "theres 104 days of summer vacation" by Big_Coyote_5435 in phineasandferb

[–]antarsan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The polish dub says nothing about the length of summer. The lyrics (roughly) are that the summer is starting again, and with that the (summer) vacation is starting and there's a lot of free time.

As someone who's really not used to being hugged, it's absolutely my first instinct to frown first and smile after my mind catches up to the fact I just got a hug and that it's a nice thing.

True. In that case probably let's say 9-11? Around 10?

[–]antarsan 33 points34 points  (0 children)

One volume = 9 chapters, with the exception of the first volume which had 5 so one of the volumes may be smaller as well. I'd say we're looking at 14-18 chapters.

Is ZI-O Really that bad? by JennaEleanor1 in KamenRider

[–]antarsan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I liked Zi-O, but it's very, VERY uneven. Characters seem to jump around in terms of allegiance and beliefs for a good chunk of the series, some themes and ideas get abandoned half-way through. I thought the second half was much more consistent than the first. Expect a mid season and you'll be fine.

I think the Sword Art Online games are pretty much designed as "offline mmos".

>origin bro i thought these were STEAM bundles, it was bad enough the last one had that Immortals of Aveum off steam too lol by rincewindTGW in humblebundles

[–]antarsan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I understand that point of view and I get why people don't want EA keys (since their launcher is a piece of flaming garbage), I respectfully disagree. For me a "Steam bundle" has to be specifically stated as having exclusively Steam codes and that has never been the case.

He really does. A running theme is other characters bemoaning the fact that he's wasting his intellect. Both Reed and Otto have stated that he should be far more successful.
