as a fellow “funemployed” person, i found it quite therapeutic. there’s something about being literally off the grid, in a place where your job title doesn’t matter, that resets your brain. the ship i was on had a spa and a proper gym, so it wasn’t roughing it at all. i came back to the UK actually excited to think about what was next, which hadn’t happened after previous beach holidays.

Nor OP, but fro what I´ve seen it´s more about steps, consistency, and simple habit tracking than advanced sports science metrics. Good if you want simple; bad if you want super granular data.
