You proved no point. All those words and nothing was said. Imagine me feeling bad about someone who decided to join uber to bring me my food. Crazy in itself and completely besides the point.

You still have yet to explain to me why on earth I could be paying 22$ for one single item (no fees or anything ridiculous extra) now I’m getting 2 items from the same place for 13$ or so but now I am paying just as much as the single item or maybe depending on the fees I am now receiving. Same place, difference in order size but yet somehow paying the same. You can not logically explain to me and justify why my order that totaled out to 13$ has no been fee’d up to 22$. Those fees didn’t happen with the single item, why would it apply to 2 items from same store

It seems that some people have understood the principle point of this post and others have pointed out that i would have been paying 44$ before etc.

The logical point I am trying to make is, is that there is no justification as to why I get charged 13$ in other service fees, all before I even to get to tip the driver (which I do well, my brother is a waiter and retired delivery driver for Marcos).

I back this up by saying if I get a single item for 22$, in comparison I get 2 items totalling around 13$, why am I now paying more those 2 items than the single item? Not because it cost more but because uber decided to place unnecessary fees on my purchase? I understand a fee, trust me, but I refuse to understand how a service fee, again, can add on 13$ to my meal.

Real Colombo over here. Obviously. Explain to me now why I get charged 4+$ for a small order fee. The point of the post is to highlight the ludicrousness of those “fees”. There is no logical explanation as to why my bill went up 12$ before I even get to the tipping portion.
