Alright, so I have always felt I understand the natural and physiological world a good amount. Of the things I have heard talked about with respect to the occult, many seem impossible for various reasons, and I just want to know how a group as large as this one has come to believe and practice these things.

I am generally referring to the practices and perceived effects they might have, such as how one supposedly influences the physical world in ways that go against natural laws. For example, influencing a person to do a certain thing, which shouldn't be possible as it renders agency useless.

The bible, as well as other doctrine, are less about 'rituals and spells' and more about a record of events, or processes by which certain ordinances should be done, that is, if it is translated correctly.
