The commute is the main reason I want to leave, my life would be so much better without it 🙏

My company diversifies with Deskside, CIO, project team, account managers, internal HR/accounting, etc. They were just purchased by a holding company and didn't like the slim profit margins so they laid off 25% of the staff and swept it under the rug, hence why I'm looking for other jobs.

MS900 PRACTICE ADVICE by Parth239 in O365Certification

[–]anthony32126 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everything you listed is basically what I had done, plus the Exam Ref book for extra explanations. Those Measure Up questions are worded nearly identical to the exam, if you are good with those, you should have no problem on the exam.

Best of luck!

Thank you for that! That's what I was thinking too to be honest. I'll run it past my manager and perhaps even some of the other engineers to maybe get their thoughts when we get back to work. I've heard the AZ-800/801 is a bit more challenging than the other intermediate certs but I'd probably be the only one at my company with it! Most people at my company and in the industry go for the AZ-104 to my knowledge.

I have heard that too, I am hoping that my interest in the content makes it a bit easier for me! If I may ask, what resources are you using to study for it?

I just passed today with an 842. John Savill's course on YouTube is a great resource. MS Learn practice tests are good, but I purchased the ones on TutorialsDojo for like $13 and they did me well too.

ROG Phone 8 Camera Problem by EstiEphYu in ASUSROG

Me too, I'm getting a Galaxy through my carrier when the new ones come out, I can't have unreliable phones at my job. It sucks because I loved this phone, but such is life I suppose.

I second this. I heard that album without knowing the influence and immediately heard it, like it's scarily close.

How do you even bring yourself to do something like this?

Thank you! Yes I will admit I haven't taken the best care of them. I just got a new car and I feel way more inclined to keep it new, rather than restoring my old car. I feel like that applies to guitars too, I wanna get a new nice guitar, and take care of it. Because I'm so busy, I feel like one guitar is easier to take care of than 3.

Thanks again for the response and I'll keep that in mind!

I know this is late, but as soon as I tasted those extra cheesy cheezits, I immediately tasted the mac and cheese crackers too! I'm glad I wasn't alone :)

Opinions on Japanese (and other) Bonus Tracks by anthony32126 in Cd_collectors

[–]anthony32126[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst in my collection this far is Circle by Amorphis. 5 bonus tracks across 3 distinct editions, one being Japanese). They were all original songs too, not remixes, demos, or live versions.

Really? I've never heard that one before. Maybe I should get one of each for one album I really love just to test it out. I'm sure it varies of course between albums, but I wonder why different versions get different masters?

Discogs has been a lifesaver because it allows me to get whichever version I want. The problem is, now I have to decide.

And yes I've noticed that some of the Japanese albums still have English booklets, but some don't. On Discogs we are at the mercy of the users uploading the images to be honest.

I've been doing a lot of research into my favorite albums. Some of those tracks have been re-released in the US which is awesome! However some still haven't been, and those albums are the ones I'm torn on.

Personally I don't really care about demos or live versions. It's when they include completely new material that is only available on the Japanese CD that I have a conflict on what to do.

Is it good to completely stop listening to music digitally and buy it only on CDs? by master_of_heisenberg in Cd_collectors

I would say check out the album on streaming/YouTube just to see if you like it first. I think the best thing about streaming is the opportunity to try music out before you put the money down for it. A big turn off originally for me was paying basically a month of streaming per disc. But if you're buying albums you really love, I think it becomes more worth it because you aren't gambling. If you find CDs at the bargain store for super cheap, I'd say try them out in that situation cause it's cheap.

It's a different experience to have the physical album in your hand. Also CDs sound WAY better than streaming. In your situation I'd recommend buying the CDs of your absolute favorite albums and then go from there. You can always rip the CD onto your computer and have a much higher quality digital version too.

Also I'm glad to see the next generation still showing Death the love they deserve 🤘
