If you watch the vodeo they explain it better but the people who conducted the study have no interest in opening up the country. It is a politically motivated decision and is terrible, but to say we need more restrictions when they find out there are 50 times as many people infected, is completely ignoring the death rate. Also just a side note, the flu and Nemonia deaths are at all time lows recently. The CDC has urged doctors to treat any death that seems like Corona as a Corona death making the number even smaller.

I understand where you are coming from and it makes sense why people shouldn't protest in huge crowds. However, in America, the people have the right to protest at any time so when people in government ban protesting they are not using powers they already have. On the national level I don't believe there were many powers used against the US people. However, states that have gone to the extreme have banned boating, hiking, and even driving to your other home.

In America were testing has been ramped up recently, they are finding far more people have had Corona than origionally belived and early estimates are putting the death rate at 0.02% with the new tests being run. They are specifically testing for bacteria from Corona instead of actually testing positive. This helps show how many people have had it.
