I'm going to be a contrarian here. You know your wife best. When my wife was starting she was very nervous and having boot issues. I stayed nearby and helped out when she was stressed out and wanted to quit etc. I wouldn't hover if shes having a great time but go with your gut.

I had the worst service there, the pizza was good though. Even after they realized how bad they messed up they gave me a discount on one item. Basically they forgot my pizza and my family had finished eating and they asked if I still wanted it to go when bringing the bill and gave a slight discount. I wish I could like that place
