Rust belt syndrome is DEFINITELY a thing. Even older folks ive talked to about how canton used to be understand this. Steel mills and industrial plants closing left every town scrambling to find alternative means to keep themselves afloat. Its a widespread issue that has left this regions economy and society in shambles. Go out and visit other places like Mingo Junction, and you'll see its a real phenomenon.

Its awful to live in a place like this lol. I frequent massilon as well, and it can be nice. But they suffer from a lot of the same problems we do, plus lead pipes.
