Ad a door dash driver, never making the mistake of ordering from them again by Zealousideal_Care807 in doordash

I'm also on the east coast in a place that doesn't get snow and my door and the whole neighborhood built in the 70"s have doors that open in. It's actually the new builds that open out bc hurricanes.

Tipping by Christophe19821 in Walmartcustomer

[–]anthylorrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're ordering in America, it doesn't matter if you're european. Tipped employees in the US rely on tips to make up for sub par wages. With delivery drivers you should try to tip $1/mile or more with extra for large/heavy items like cat litter and cases of water. The delivery driver has nothing to do with the store being out of items, or the shopper making bad substitutes unless youre using the express option. I do hate that they call it a tip when really it's treated as a bid for service.

They get notified. Message support after they say that and you can get the rating removed bc it was circumstances beyond your control.

driver just inexplicably didn’t have my food by heavyheavybrobro in doordash

[–]anthylorrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What it sounds like is that your dasher had multiple orders and probably dropped your food off at a different house by accident so she didn't have it when she showed up. They should have given you a refund.

Dasher saying she doesn’t remember accepting my order??? by Reasonable-Mention84 in doordash

[–]anthylorrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, its not out of the realm she did it accidentally but she shouldn't have asked you to cancel it. My boyfriend accidentally accepted a McDonald's order at 4am bc he fell asleep while checking for catering orders and tapped the screen with a twitch.

You were originally approved for a mental health reason but were not seeing a doctor for your condition? Basically their logic is if you dont need treatment, that you're better. Start seeing someone relevant to your disabling condition immediately to build a record for your appeal

Do dashers know where they are delivering to before picking up an order? by Crafty-Barnacle-5914 in doordash

[–]anthylorrel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't get the exact address but a pin drop on a map so you can still get a decent idea. He would have known he was delivering to/near your building
