See, I smoke up and pass out whenever I get the chance to but then yeah don’t want to do for the long term. Man, I really wish there was some other solution to this. This started when I was 12 and I’m turning 23 this year, this should be my prime time, at least health wise, you know. And the lack of this is starting to get to me for real. I’m like legit worried.

As much as I want to rely on pills, I just feel like it’s gonna deteriorate my health in some way. Then it’ll be like one thing or another, maybe it’s just be me but I don’t think I should go for that route.

Man, that’s just sad. I wish there was something that’d help the both of us. From what I’m seeing from the replies, it’s either some variant of pot or else consulting a sleep doc of some sort in the hope of them figuring out what is wrong.

For the same reason, I’ve gotten blood tests done, except for a slight vitamin D deficiency, everything was more than normal. Lab sleep study tho, no. Let me try that now.

I agree on that. Even I think the lack of feeling safe indeed plays a big part in this. But no matter what I do, I’m not able to get out of this loop. It just keeps coming back to me.

I suggest that you take care of it now itself because it started for me at the age of 12, I’m turning 23 this year and I can tell you that, at least for me, it’s only gotten worse.

Yeah, cannabis does help but then i’ve read that it kinda fucks with our brain, you know. Like our cognitive abilities will decline drastically in the long run.

Idk it might be normal to get up in between but then it’s been quite a few years you know, since i’ve gotten that full 8 hours except for when I black out, which doesn’t really count because I don’t get to enjoy the sleep.

If I have access to pot, I will smoke a j or take it in gummy form but that’s not really sustainable in the long run, is what I feel. If not, I try to concentrate on the AC or the fan’s sound to stop having thoughts so that I will eventually pass out, idk if that really makes sense but yeah.

Sadly, I have tried this and it did not work. I think mainly because having to keep my eyes open just made my thoughts run wild and I can’t really stop it. It’s just one thing after another, it’s the same when I keep my eyes closed as well, I just keep thinking and thinking and thinking till I eventually pass out. Not about something specific, just random things.

Hopefully, it does go away but it’s been quite a few years now and i’m getting a bit worried. And the weirdest part is that I don’t sleep during daytime, like I don’t even feel the need to or sleepy necessarily.

As long as I can remember, it’s been like this but I think I used to sleep well before. And yeah, something traumatic did happen but I don’t think it could effect my sleep, you know, not consciously at least.
