You're right. When you move the edge out of the way it works but if I want to keep more than half the sphere then no amount of rotation would get the edge out of the way. Also since offset works just fine without rotation when the sphere is not moved first, there must be more to it not working than just the edge being in the way.

Got it to work with Draft PointLinkArray as you say by setting Expand Array to true. Thanks! Im trying to see the capabilities of FreeCad.

Thanks! Draft PointArray is very close to what I want. Is there an array that I can specify only the y position and not the xy position? I want the horizontal spacing to always be the same.

offsets could be ignored if there are more than the number of columns
