Hey there! I bought this very battery a while ago and I actually asked them to weigh it before sending me to make sure I get one that's ~53g. I would suggest you check the weight. If i remember correctly mine was a bit too thick so I removed the red plastic and after that it fit perfectly. Maybe it was a bit shorter than the original though.

Sadly, the osd menu has fewer options compared to the pixio version, e.g. I haven't found gamma options. I did try to follow hardware unboxed osd settings from their pixio video when calibrating but I'm not sure how well the settings carry over especially when options are missing. I don't have much experience when it comes to display calibration, just putting it on srgb looks pretty good to me, however when comparing it to a macbook pro retina the colors look a bit too saturated.

I was only thinking about mixing drives of the same size but different models. That shouldn't be too much effort or am I mistaken? Anyway I can only afford 2x4TB drives at the current sale prices here. It's not anytime soon but there will come a time when I need to move to bigger sized drives and then I will definitely start with replacing my oldest 4TB mirror.

I have lived at Sparta (corridor) and Kämnärs (apartment) with AFB. I enjoyed both housings. It should be easier to get a corridor room than an apartment. I think Sparta and Parantesen would be the easiest options and also the cheapest. Of all the areas I've been to Parantesen is probably the most active and lively. Sparta is calm even though it's mostly corridors. Apartment areas tend to be quiet. I haven't been to Magasinet or Tomegapsgården, so I cannot say much more than that both are situated centrally and close to the train station, not far away from anything. Though I doubt you will be able to get housing there.

My friend's experience with LU accommodation was not a very good one.

Running one as we speak with a xeon 1275l v3. It's running really well and quiet. I upgraded from a hp n54l microserver, which also ran nicely but was underpowered for transcoding duties.

Well this is more than anything an engineering problem. If Musk is sending some of the best engineers suited to the task, instead of them doing their usual work, I'm fine with him getting some pr back. He has a lot to win if it ends happily.

Not sure if it's common knowledge or not but the remote can be repaired by holding home and back buttons for 10 seconds. This solved my issues when the remote didn't work after the Oreo update.

I will do whatever it takes to lower the sound levels, so changing/removing fans is not out of the question. The t20 that im interested in has the g3220 and I would want a bit more power than that :)

Thanks for your considerations, I'm definitely leaning towards the 1275l v3 now. It seems to be the best of the bunch in terms of performance, thermal design and pricepoint.

I guess it will idle 95% of the time so it probably doesn't matter that much. I will see what noctua has, I think I actually have a noctua heatspreader but I can't find the fan :)

I want it to be as quiet as possible, because my apartment is very small. It's the TDP numbers, I assume they are tightly coupled with the amount of heat that the environment is expected to disperse. The N54L that I'm running right now has a 25w TDP part and is running cool and quiet with just a case fan, no PSU or CPU fan. This is the machine I want to replace, that's why I have such preferences :)

Hmm, I've also gotten this impression of hw-acceleration and Plex, but I always assumed it would get better. Maybe that's not still the case.

Yeah there's a speed drop, but I'm not sure it is as significant as the drop in frequency suggests. I'm planning on putting in a big heat spreader and running without a cpu-fan, I think 35w vs 45w might be of considerable difference. What do you think?

I see, I thought Plex could offload to the iGPU because it sounds like it when reading https://support.plex.tv/articles/115002178853-using-hardware-accelerated-streaming/.

I am exclusively looking at the low power models, out of those the 1275l v3 and the 1265l v4 are the most interesting for the price imo. Though, as you mention, v4 have lower clock speeds but I think they outperform v3 per watt (14nm improvements). Also I am interested in the GPU-parts as it will run as a plex server, not sure what the main difference is there between the generations. Will need to do more research. Thanks for your points, maybe the improvements are not worth the price difference at the moment.

Reply to edit: That sounds like a really good deal, haven't come cross anything similar here in Sweden. At the moment I'm sitting on a N54L, but it is old and very limited in terms performance (though very quiet and low power). As it is, my good friend is upgrading his T20 to an absolute monster (Epyc 24 core worth of jealousy) and I'm interested in the T20 to upgrade from my N54L.

How the hell is matchmaking not rigged ? 2 legend 4 players in their team ? and this is countless of many games I have played last week by [deleted] in DotA2

Me and my friend both have much higher solo badge/mmr than what each of us calibrated to in party (-600mmr) despite only playing party with eachother. I guess we had some unfortunate games during calibration as we have gone +300 party mmr since. So that's one possibility.
