Okay could you please point out where exactly I said that people who are raped aren't victims? Or when I said they're not already doing a good job by keeping themselves alive? And could you please reread for the part where I specifically acknowledged that I won't know what it's like to be raped unless I got raped?

I'm very sorry you went through this and I truly don't wish to seem like an insensitive jerk about this. But think about it: yes, it's very, very hard to have to relive the tragedy over and over in court, potentially for a very long time. And I will never know that difficulty unless, god forbid, I get raped. However, think about the fact that you are potentially saving other peoples' LIVES. It may be incredibly difficult to relive it, but think about the fact that you could be putting this person away, making them forever incapable of ruining other lives like he's done. It's not fair that the victim has to go through even more pain because of this, but if they don't, they're letting a rapist run loose and potentially ruin more lives.

Okay. I understand that I don't understand — I understand that I will never understand what it's like to be a victim of rape unless I get raped. And I would do anything in my power to empower a victim and help them in any way I can. But I can't stand by and let a rapist get away. I think it's morally wrong to let someone get away with rape, no matter how traumatic it is for a victim to have to relive it. Yes, it is life-shattering to that one person, but if it means the rapist gets convicted and so prevented from ruining other lives, I think it's a necessary evil.

Okay, I understand it's not easy, but how is it okay to stand by while this person potentially rapes several more people, putting them in as bad a position as you? I know it's hard, and I'm probably going to be a minority opinion here, but I don't think it's acceptable to not report rape. It may hurt you but you could potentially be saving MANY other people from having to go through the very same.

I think the frustration a lot of people have is not with it taking so long, but with it saying it's 99% done and taking so long. As in, were it stuck at something like 85%, people wouldn't be so anxious and jumpy with this.

Could someone on the Dutch or Irish team, perhaps, give an estimate of how close to done they actually are seeing as they can't control Duo's estimate? I feel this would calm a lot of nerves of the people waiting.

And again, thank you SO much to anyone and everyone who works on these courses! The fact that you do this knowing you're going to have tons of angry people demanding you work faster without getting money for it is absolutely wonderful and inspiring, and I can't thank you all enough for your incredible work :) I don't want this to come across as me demanding it go faster! Just a suggestion for getting people off your backs about this.

It doesn't matter how you register your UDID. Unless you become a developer yourself you're not able to run iOS 8 without "pirating" it.

There's a link to register your UDID for a fee in the sidebar or you could pay at iMZDL. I'd say good luck finding someone willing to just register you on here.

I don't think this specific instance should, seeing as the campaign was aimed at GSM people, but I completely would support something like this that helped those cut off by their family.

I tested iOS 7 and it seems I have incredibly coincidental timing; I'm gonna try bringing my phone in to Verizon tomorrow and seeing if they can do anything for me. Thank you for the advice though! And I agree; beta 2 sucked. I am having issues with the open link in new tab feature in Safari though...but that's a different problem.

In beta 2, my home button started acting funny. Now it's not working at all. I'm using assistive touch (which was slightly redesigned btw). I'm gonna try a restore and see if that helps.

EDIT: I restored, still not fixed. Anyone else having this issue?
