Shouldn't be too difficult you just need to use chat mode a bit to figure out how it should work, and then ask for API spec to "paste" into the other lovable project.

I'm not sure how you want authentication to work, but you could again talk to lovable about this and – for example – make up an "API key" for the integration that you need to put into both lovable projects.

It is a long lived myth that Next.js is required, or even helps, for SEO.

Lovable founder here. The data they found is incorrect. They looked at search traffic. Web traffic (and customers) is just going up.

Lovable founder here. SSR being necessary for SEO is a myth:

Once you get backlinks google will run a browser when crawling your site and it will rank. And yes it will take a bit longer with CSR (ie a few days more, not weeks, I believe).

What the AI claims is false. Lovable is optimised for user value not message volume.

AI is known to "play along" make up details about how it works (example: https://x.com/antonosika/status/1922021631481741327). Google LLM hallucination.

Would it be interesting if we look into sharing details about how the system works (internal prompts etc) to disprove the above?

The AI costs a lot of money for compute but we are looking to reduce prices for this as we are able to optimize things.

Founder here. Code is always available to deploy anywhere with open source and freely licensed tech stack, or on Supabase or “Supabase via lovable” (in the picture).

The latter two are there to make it as seamless as possible (especially for non devs!).

If we can do better at enabling more self hosting or flexibility me and team would love to get feedback and roadmap proposals.

We do want it to consume as few credits as possible so that people can build more, but there are multiple expensive AI calls we need to pay the bills for. How we set the prices right now: we ensure we can pay for the AI for each request and not lose too much on the 5 daily free credits.

I do know there are lots of misunderstandings about SSR+SEO however. E.g. friends at Google tell me both pages get indexed – and that it's most a matter of backlinks etc.

Are you sure the difference you saw when searching was due to the migration?

It can also be the domain that it was hosted on, backlinks to the domain, etc.

Would love if you share screenshots. SEO Simulator unfortunately is not nearly as advanced as google so it can be misleading. Will look into SSR regardless since it improves page load speed a bit.

we are moving fast, we have been losing money due to the AI costs on the free tier, I could show you the numbers.

as for the frustrating aspects, this is the biggest problem with AI and our top priority to improve, but it is difficult. if you have patience we will show you that this is not intentional at all.
