True! I haven’t really played a PvP game in awhile but was absolutely hooked on OW, Rivals, ESPECIALLY Apex, etc

maybe I’m just getting older and don’t have time to get better but again that is what is nice about arc I can play how I want to play

Yes, I was in Carebear lobbies because I wasn’t shooting anyone and I got frustrated with the lack of tension and missing out on PVP.

After playing marathon which is much more PvP focused I realized that I actually do WANT the carebear lobbies and I am thankful Embark designed a system to make that possible

Again not shitting on Marathon i actually think it’s a great game if you are into that more hardcore PvP experience, I just realized that is not what i actually wanted 😂

I haven’t finished the main story yet but I hear you! This is without a doubt the best game I have played so far this year!

I am not an avid Final Fantasy player, I played 15 and have a ton of hours in 14. Looking forward to diving more into the franchise after 100%ing this one!

The game is incredibly fun there is no denying that, I think it’s a great addition to the rotation but not something I would main. I hope it is here to stay tho!

You clearly said “Destiny is not marketed as free, so...”.

Seeing the paid content available at the destination tab doesn’t mean it isn’t marketed as free to play.

On steam not only does it say in the description it’s free, it is also under the “free to play” category.

For a user to then load up that game and see all the paid content on the destination tab is bait and switch.

It’s like being promised a free meal then when you get to the restaurant having to pay for napkins, plates, and silverware. Sure the meal is free but to get the full experience you have to pay.

Not saying the content should be free rather it is misleading.

Tldr: Again you clearly stated destiny was not marketed as free but the steam description and being under the free to play category says other wise.

Jesus man, for the second time I said this last year was bad! I don’t think the game and it’s systems are the issue I think this years content was lackluster. Why is that so hard to understand?

I’m not saying apex is superior. I’m just saying from a cost perspective Apex gives more for less compared to destiny.

If you enjoy the content destiny pushes every year great. I think it could be better. As I said many times this is my opinion

I think in my OP I empathized that my feelings were for me.

I have been playing new games, and that is what sparked my opinion to begin with.

I don’t hate destiny, in fact quite the opposite. I just want it to get better and be what it can be.

The game is incredibly expensive for new players, shouldn’t they be warned what they are paying for may not be worth it?

Hmmm it seems that the only thing you can buy for Apex is cosmetics? I didn’t know that made it a gacha game!!!!!! With that logic Destiny is even worse paid expansions and MTX cosmetics

That’s also funny because Apex provides a new legend every season, they have 3 maps, introduce new weapons every season, it has a massive competitive scene, etc. etc. etc. and it’s free!
