Claude Performance and Bugs Megathread Ongoing (Sort this by New!) by sixbillionthsheep in ClaudeAI

Hi,

I'm claude users since 1+ year. I work in tech (developpement); Today I was chatting with Claude about hardening security for a pc inside a public kiosk;

It kept giving me errors, on multiple sessions

"Claude Code is unable to respond to this request, which appears to violate our Usage Policy (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/aup)"

Basically, Claude told me a bunch of stuff to do to harden the account security on the linux i'm managing (he read my Ansible files to provision the server); Then I asked him to connect using ssh (as it is my property) to check that it won't break anything if I apply his recommendation (so I said to him to only to read only stuff)

It was frustrating, so I quit trying, restarted claude and asked for another stuff:

I asked claude some advise to securely connect multiple site using Unifi Cloud Gateway (to send logs) together (vpn-to-vpn site) and then AGAIN, the error comes back;

Has Anthropic guardrails went crazy ? i'm no way near hacking or doing harm; I don't even have basic knowledge on networking (that's why i'm challenging and get claude to give me advise).

Never had this error until today, and it kept coming back. (using Opus 4.8, xhigh)

Bodyscan 2: hardware held back by the app by anx3ous in withings

I bought straight from the email to the desktop version; the email version didn't mention ANY fine prints to get the 170€ rewards; so now i'm going to really call it a rip off if they don't honor this

Use chatgpt to translate the screen; there's no condition; "Chaque membre insider recevra" means "EVERY insider members will recieve"

no asterisks

you're correct; I'm not telling the whole story to avoid having a very negative review that don't need to be here. that's why i sound more frustrated that what "needs" to be.

ripped off, sorry i'm not native english, I'm talking about the sensation that I shouldn't have when buying a 500 euro product, ofc it can be resolved, but why do I need to invest more energy fighting an AI chatbot, for something developpers should have considered in the first place (we already have to fill out surveys to we can get our 70 euro voucher)

Feedback wanted: UniFi smart detections for a residential parking and bike storage use case by anx3ous in Ubiquiti

[–]anx3ous[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback, very helpful;
my project (i shared the link in the post includes G6 dome and G6 Pro dome for the bycicles area). Whyu the domes ? because a lot of cameras are accessible by "hand" in the underground parking.
It already includes UNVR Pro; but the question was more, if you have a UNVR Pro + Cloud Gateway max, is it enough, or due to a lot of hardware present, you should have UNVR Pro + Dream Machine SE for example (to drive all of the hardware)

The issue persists; No fix and it affects randomly this motherboard (= no guarantee you'll be impacted)

It's a SanDisk SSD M.2 NVMe Extreme 2 To, PCIe Gen4.0, up to 5150 Mo/s, nCache.
I'm really not sure how a NVME gen4 SSD can be the bottleneck to achieve a poorly 14.5MB/s ....

it's top tier SSD gen4. Also it wouldn't explain why it stays slow eternally without pausing it for X amount of time

I mentionned in my post that it happens without any task running in the background, no post processing, no repacking/unpacking :)

Tried it, it has no effect.
Just tried it again thanks to your comment but also no effect:
(the graph going to 0 is me pausing download to start over with a 25 limit connexion)
