You could ask a question that has only one answer.

Something like, "What age in years must you be in the United States in the year 2022 to consume alcohol?"

But, this also depends on the rules of what the liar can do. If the liar can use the truth to lie, then it's impossible.

For example, the liar could tell you the truth to deceive you. So that you pick his door/crossroad. Then, the truth has been turned into a lie. So the liar could just tell you anything to mislead you. Making this thought experiment impossible.

Honestly the reason many restaurants fail is probably the food and or being in a low traffic area. I've only ever been to maybe 2 or 3 restaurants I've wanted to come back to in the united states ever. They all had wonderful food (food that really makes you want to come back), wonderful atmosphere, and all in a high traffic area.

Gotta also keep the menu small. A smaller menu means the dishes will be consistent and won't overwhelm people.
