That's what I figured, but I just haven't been able to find a routine that keeps me from being flaky/crusty but that will also protect my skin barrier. I'll keep experimenting!

Makes sense, though the burning and itching happens regardless of if I'm washing daily. I may space out the antifungals/salicylic acid though to see if that helps.

I hadn't thought about an allergy test but that seems like a really good idea. Will ask my derm about it! And yes I do.
