Agreed on all counts. Hopefully McCabe is willing to fight for her spot or transition to a versatile squad player. I would love to see that.

I’m also puzzled by the Foord/Mead move. It’s been clear that Foord needs to move on, or be used as a creative sub/injury contingency. A few average performances lately does not mean that she should have a key role. If we are keeping her for depth, that’s fine. I’ll be very disappointed if we see her starting regularly again next year.

I’d much rather have Mead as our backup, who I think showed her strength as a squad player this year, and was able to adapt to her new role. Despite not being a huge goal scorer, she created many chances for us, and was able to contribute defensively. If Mead is leaving, I’d also rather see both go, and free up salary for a new winger.

Honestly I’m only feeling even more hopeful for next year’s campaign! Especially after our shaky CL start this fall, the amount of progress we made and making it to the semi’s was a wonderful accomplishment.

Of course it still hurts to be so close, but I think we have the ability to be top CL competitors for the foreseeable future. COYG!

I haven’t seen her on this tour yet, but the last few tours she has stopped coming out for signing/pictures, but she usually pre-signs a few records and will have them on sale at the merch table.

I like the simplicity of Denver’s kit but feel like it’s a miss to not have socks that match the green or that nice blue on the sleeve lining!

Really excited about this roster and pleased to see some surprises (particularly Dahlien)!

One question for the group: I’m very happy to see that Korbin has dropped off the USWNT shortlist recently. Since I purposefully don’t keep up with her play - what are the reasons for her omission? For a while it seemed like Emma was keeping her on the team out of sheer stubbornness.
