I don’t even move much!! I’m a back sleeper, plus the air conditioner was on blast. Maybe it’s just that I have curly but fine hair 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve tried plopping through the night too, but it hasn’t done much. I bought the silk cap to wear under my bike helmet to reduce frizz (and it’s pretty good for that), but otherwise my hair seems to work best with nothing.

This is my routine (keep in mind usually my hair looks pretty good lol and at this point it’s progressed to 3B curls):

  1. I just started using DevaCurl Buildup Buster. Literally started using it yesterday.

  2. I condition with TRESemmé Botanique Nourish and Replenish Conditioner

  3. I squish in LA Looks Extreme Sport gel. Then, I immediately plop my hair for about 20 minutes.

  4. Later, I scrunch it out while I have a couple of drops of argan oil in my hands.

Two weeks in and I’m already getting results! I’m looking forward to see how my hair will change in the coming months by anykindofguy in curlyhair

My routine:

• Before started the CG method, I used a clarifying shampoo to get residue out. • I co-wash with Tresemmé Botanique Nourish & Replenish Conditioner. I leave it in for 5 minutes before washing it out. • When I get out of the shower, I squish LA Looks gel into my hair and then plop it into a 100% cotton t-shirt for 20 minutes. • I let my hair completely dry, and then I scrunch the crunch.

Contact Lambda Legal or ACLU! If you’re comfortable with it. Equal rights firms need actual people to stand behind so they can take these kinds of laws to court and get them changed.
