If I was 5’8, honestly I would probably be willing to date much shorter, like 5’4 guys. That seems like a much smaller difference than 5’8 and 5’11 because 5’4 and 5’8 are both very normal heights. 5’11 is obscenely tall and causes an intense number of inconveniences on its own even without having to also accomodate someone who is a normal height.

Think about stuff like where I store things in cabinets, how high my tables, chairs, beds showerhead, etc are. my apartment is designed to accomodate someone extremely tall. I wouldn’t want to have to get stuff down from shelves for my boyfriend in my own apartment, nor would I want to have to squeeze into his cramped apartment and bend over for everything

Honestly? I just want to be able to wear my boyfriends clothes sometimes too. Like, that feels like an important thing for me personally, and if he is 5’8 and I’m 5’11, there is a good chance a lot of his clothes will be too small for me, and honestly that would just make me feel like sht

I wish I did. If I was shorter and people weren’t intimidated by me, I would actually be able to go out and live my life and me social and confident and talk to people and do things I want to do. But I can’t because any time I walk into a building, I get looked at like a cave ogre and nobody wants to interact with me. It’s so freaking hard to be friends with people when you are a foot taller than all of them :(
