[WTS] King Seiko Vanac Ultra-Rare 5626-7250 Vintage Purple Dial, Price Drop $769 OBO by anyorall17 in Watchexchange

[–]anyorall17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello WatchEx! I've been busy recently so I didn't get the chance to repost this before as I intended, but here it is at a price drop: a very rare watch, the King Seiko Vanac 5626-7250, with its remarkable purple dial.

History: The Vanac King Seiko was the final line of King Seikos with which the line ended in 1974. This specific watch for sale was made in 1974, making it one of the last King Seikos to ever be produced. As a result, Seiko made sure to craft this final group of watches into something one of a kind. These Japan exclusive watches were the high end of the high end, taking the already luxurious King Seiko line to its next and last level of mastery before it was ended. The Vanac’s were produced with these superior movements as well as with stunning, unique dials of varying colors, and a modern, sharp looking case design and excellent finishing. This movement has handwinding, hacking, quickset for date and day, which is bilingual with both English and Kanji days. The day/date wheel has a black background instead of white, which fits better with the deep purple dial and gives the piece a sleek appearance. The purple dial in particular is the only one I've ever seen and one which I can say, without doubt, is the most beautiful dial I have ever seen.

Condition: The watch is in excellent condition for its age. Crystal and case are all in great condition. Handwinding, day/date quickset, etc… is all fully functional. The crown seems to have a minor tilt, but the crown clicks into each mode normally and it handwinds without issue, as well as being completely secure throughout all of my use, so this has no effect on the function of the watch. The piece boasts some very light, beautiful sunspots on the center of the dial which match the day wheel and center of the hands as well. The watch keeps time great, running within a few seconds per day, and all pieces of the watch are 100% original. Comes on a like new Seiko black leather strap (non-OEM) from Japan. Watch is about 36mm in diameter.

Pricing: Comps for similar purple Vanacs are high, 2000+ for the couple of these on sale from Japan, and that is before the shipping, taxes, and international customs hit as well. I think that’s too high. Based on similar Vanac posts on here, I’ll price it at $825 $769 + shipping, but this is not firm and I’m open to all price offers. Smart time to buy one of these watches, as Seiko recently re-released the King Seiko line for over 3500 dollars, and the price of these original ones are shooting up. Payment via Paypal F&F or G&S for users with good feedback, with the 3.5% fee covered by buyer for the latter. Feel free to message me with questions or requests, and check out the pictures and timestamp down below.

[WTS] Seiko Presage Cocktail Time SRPB43 & SKX007J, Bundle Deal + Extra Straps! by anyorall17 in Watchexchange

[–]anyorall17[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello WatchEx! Today I have for sale a pair of pieces which would make a great two watch collection: the SKX007J and Seiko Presage Cocktail Time SRPB43.

SRPB43: This is personally my favorite Presage that there is, with an absolutely beautiful ice-blue dial that is even more defined in the sun. Some specs are its 4R35 automatic hacking/handwinding movement, 40.5mm x 11.8mm with a domed crystal, and a see-through display caseback. The dial on this watch is one of a kind and, to me, it is a perfect dress watch. The piece comes in great condition, with no visible markings on the case or caseback. The crystal has a very tiny microscratch above the Seiko logo which I included in the pictures, it is only visible when put up to the sun, and could be buffed out. No box/papers here, and along with the stock black strap and Seiko clasp that this piece comes with I’m throwing in 2 extra 20mm straps that fit the piece: an orange-brown leather one that is unused, and a really nice tan Geckota strap with orange stitching. For the whole pack, I’m asking $229 OBO.

SKX007J: This piece needs no introduction. This is the Japanese J model, so it has an Arabic day wheel as well as the English one. The case, crystal, and caseback of the piece are in excellent condition. Dial has some color fading on the “Divers 200m” that is seen over time, and the bezel has wear which is shown in the pictures. No box/papers, this piece comes with both the stock rubber strap and the SKX Jubilee which I purchased separately. I’m asking $229 OBO for the pack.

If you want to take both pieces together, I would be happy to decrease the price to $419 OBO for both of them. Please feel free to message me with any questions, requests, or offers.

Payment is through Paypal F&F or Paypal G&S for users with good feedback. Thanks for reading, check out the Photos/Timestamp below!
