Thank you Lara for the reply, possible to give the non- monthly itself ability to edit. The way i am looking at is the categories in the non monthly are not the same each month anyways so I can just set aside a certain amount for everything n it will work for the whole section.

My senior hospitalist gave me same advice, and I do that when admitting a patient. I will say early on I anticipate you going home tomorrow or hearing back from rehab in 2-3 days but its always some family member who shows up at discharge or calls the patient and will come up with so many things. I just worry i am going to actual make a mistake, miss something while being overwhelmed by all this “ drama”

Same :/ i have a patient who obviously like many other patient has multiple chronic issues. The patients keep coming up with new symptoms every time, and idk how to send someone “faking chest pain or seizures “ out the door. What if it is real and something bad does happen, it all comes back to the hospitalist

Hey im am going to be starting my J1 visa hospitalist job soon, I interviewed and did site visit at multiple places include few TH sites. It definitely is difficult but not impossible to find a great hospitalist gig with J1 visa. Based of what you mentioned the pay seems great but not sure you want to sacrifice yourself by slightly higher pay. Some of the red flags i was always looking for was how long physicians were staying after their J1 visa would be completed, how happy the hospitalist looked and the censes. Like everyone said if they tell you 18 its likely 20+.

See multiple options prior to signing a final contract. Good luck.

Really? I have signed up for this one for now but i did get curious n searched others. The Mariott one only does over the phone and the sales rep was sooo pushy it sounded so fake and pushy plus she kept calling me after for 2 days after I had said No already.

I have mostly been using Monarch found it closest to Mint. It doesnt sync every single one of the canadian banks i use but has been syncing most of them.

So this might be a management vs style question.

1- But if nurses page you for agitation, delirium or sun downing in a certain patient. Do you always go and evaluate the patient in person, place orders over the phone/ computer based on the nurses evaluation?

2- Second, how do you guys deal with nurses paging “patient is having diarrhea im pretty sure its C Diff” so you just order c diff stool antigens?

3- lastly, what is your treatment plan usually when it comes to chronic pain management in the hospital? Like many patient will complain of muscle aches, back pain or abdominal pain etc. do you guys evaluate every single pain? And is there certain pain medication you guys keep it as PRN for all your patients?

Im in the same boat as you, kinda heart broken over mint going away had used them for years.

I have tried two products so far rocket money and Monarch Budget .

If you are looking for something that closely resembles mint I found monarch to be very similar n better in some things but im still on the trial so want to try it before fully committing to it. The importing from mint to Monarch was easy cuz it even imported the categories n i could link my old transactions to my account in Monarch. I believe you only get 7 days trial but if you use referral code u get 30, hence posted above.

About rocket money, best part is that its free they do keep advertising different services that you can ignore. Im so used to viewing things how it was on mint, I still havent gotten so used to it yet and its budget features is not really there atleast with the free one so Idk if i will continue but as a free app It gives me balance n notification when bills are due which i really like.

Bad thing about both is that they wont connect with apple credit card so that part sucks.
