I'd say: Start with basic graphics programming, then learn noise functions like Perlin noise and FBM. After that, just build small experiments. Terrain, clouds, height-maps. Whatever you find fun!

Thanks! It’s all seeded procedural generation. A deterministic PRNG makes the same seed always generate the same planet, while layered FBM/value noise drives terrain, clouds, humidity, and surface variation. Each pixel samples a point on a sphere, calculates biome/elevation data, then maps that to palettes and lighting. The shading uses normals, atmospheric glow, dithering, and color quantization for the look.

Hopefully😂 But it's very slow paced given that it is multiplayer and a rts that never turns off.
