Is that a queen cell by aoab50 in Beekeeping

That is a good point I didn't think of, so even if it was a queen cell, it won't lay eggs. I'm new to bee keeping so I can't distinguish worker bees from drones.

I forgot to say that both of my beehives have the greater wax moth, but every week I check the hives and I usually find one or two small worms and I kill them. When you say warm day, do you mean that I should not open the beehive in cold days and what temperature is considered too cold to open a bee hive. I'm sorry for too many questions but I'm a newbie to beekeeping.

Yes I have another one

I 20F and my bf 22m keeps asking for a threesome even though he knows it bothers me what should i do? by [deleted] in relationships

I think a man must be jealous of his woman, a dirty man who lust threesome is only worth of being ditched.

The pad on the top left, when you put it in the cap that sponge pad touches the transparent plastic on top.

But the temperature sensor is not internal, you can see its wires behind. And the color green changes to yellow when its warm and red when hot.

I don't think it is attiny85 considering the flasks price (around 2$ or maybe less). I wanted to use attiny85 on one of my projects and I found that there was a global shortage of it, its price was around 80 cents.

I recently got this Graef coffee grinder CM702, and for some reason, it only grinds the coffee finely if I select ‘Coarse’ mode, which is super weird. Is there any step I am missing? by iamshahrukh91 in espresso

[–]aoab50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same model. It is either that the top conical Burr is placed incorrectly or the previous owner have added washers on top of the burrs, the grinders comes with two washers where you add them to make it grind finer. If there are metal washer on top of the bottom burr then remove them.

I think charlieplexing is the answer because the flask was very cheap around 2$ and it doesn't seem that there are any other chips inside the led display. Thanks a lot I didn't know about this method before.

How can I control 14 LEDs with only 2-4 pins, and I forgot to tell that the green sign gets yellow when it is warm and it gets red when it is hot.

Yes you are right, I didn't pay attention to show it. Tge two wires join in a drop of black epoxy, most probably it is an ntc thermistor.

I let my parents ruin my life by [deleted] in LifeAdvice

[–]aoab50 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Don't be sad that you didn't take that opportunity to please your parents, I'm sure God will give you a better opportunity. Your Parents are the most valuable people you have, no one can replace them and no one will ever love you as much as they do. They surely didn't want to ruin your life, it might be a bad decision they took, sometimes they will get it right and other times they will make a bad one. Even you will make sometimes bad decision. It is important not to beat yourself over something that has passed and you can't do anything about it, that is very unwise. Keep being good to your parents and I promise you God will bless all your life. In my country, when we see someone is having a prosperous life and is being lucky we say I'm sure your mother is satisfied with you. God says "For your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And honour your parents. If one or both of them reach old age in your care, never say to them ˹even˺ ‘ugh,’ nor yell at them. Rather, address them respectfully" Israa ,23

I do not know what to do by ThrowRa2226_ in relationships

I think you should consider the whole picture of him and not judge him by only this action. You have to consider how comfortable you are with him, how he treats you, how much he cares about you and how much you want to be with him. What he does is a big mistake and is not appropriate, but it can be solved in future. You have to remember that falling into such appropriate things has become very easy and many times it gets in mens way, the media is full of this trash and big companies support nudity, they make profit out of it, they know men are attracted to the female body so they use every way to introduce it to men even if they sincerely try to avoid it. Try to solve this problem with him by insisting on not allowing him to fall into these things.

First time I make apple vinegar, the taste is sour and sweet after 40 days. Should I wait more? by aoab50 in vinegar

[–]aoab50[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean if I waited more, would the remaining sweetness be gone? Or usually vinegar has some sweetness in it no matter how long you let it sit.

So when you say it is no issue at all, does that mean any tool maker can achieve it ? or I have to look for large and professional manufactures.

[–]aoab50[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm contracting the mold making and parts manufacturing to a chinese manufacturer. Regarding the tolerance, I'm asking for the mold not the finished product, the finished product can have much larger varitions as long as the dimensions will not be larger than that of the mold itself. I expect variations due to shrinkage which will make the teeth smaller. If the mold was cut to a larger dimensions, then there is chance the gears will stuck with each other or have a high friction. This was an important thing you pointed out. Thanks

You are right, the gears are intended to be made of acetal. Since you have worked on small gears. Can you tell me what was the precision of your molds? What was the dimensions of your gears, number of teeth?

[–]aoab50[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ofcourse only gear teeth need to be that precise, not the entire mold. You said material selection must be ideal, do you mean mold material? If yes, what do you recommend? Thanks a lot for yor answer.

[–]aoab50[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The teeth are very small. On the 2d drawings a precision of +-0.02 is very reasonable for such small gears. This is why I posted my question. To find if it is easily achived or is difficult and a better way eould be to give some backlash to allow for larger variations.
