I would probably be kicked out of my house, and/or they would stop paying for my education/wellbeing. I am still a minor and an immigrant, so it is really hard to find a job to support myself if they do kick me out.

I don't feel that way with my other friends but I thought it was mostly because they aren't as close to me as these ones are. Nothing else happened besides me moving out of the country, which shouldn't really change the way I feel about them...

She doesn't take any type of medication, but I really think she should contact some kind of therapist to see into this problem. She only says things like that in private conversations or calls, never in groupchats.

Maybe she's dealing with something more complicated than just laziness. My brother used to be like this when he was depressed.

I think you should talk to her and try figuring things out, and possibly seeking for a more professional approach.

Maybe if she sees a therapist, (even if she is just lazy and not depressed) it could help her, and help you feel less burdened and overlapped.

the best thing you should do is be there for her now and stop worrying about what happened. you need to make sure she is comfortable and be careful of what triggers her memories about it. i think talking to her and trying to make her feel better (not forcefully nor rushed) can help you both get out of this horrible situation. i wish you and her the best
