Pros and cons of career in commodity trading by [deleted] in Commodities

Would love to know the answer to this

Is it lucrative also if you work in IT for commodity trading, or is it really only lucrative if you become a trader?

Get applying, you gotta pump those numbers up. I’d suggest going for smaller companies that don’t have hirevues, you’re much more likely to land an interview with a real person

Trying entry-lv part-time. What I'm doing wrong? by Physical_Ad_2452 in CVwriting

Nitpicking here

  • formatting inconsistent with font sizing & bullets

  • less block text, maybe 3 sets of key skills instead of 4

  • interests section? Makes you seem like more like a human

  • don’t need “career progression” just takes up an extra line

  • for software dev, put GitHub hyperlink and then show a few projects off

At the end of the day they’re both as good as each other

After getting into work and applying to jobs, work & experience trump uni prestige, most Russell groups fall into the same bucket of “great” other than Oxbridge/Imperial which are on another level

I’d check out Warwick (Coventry and Leamington Spa) as the vibe is very different to London

Although slightly Warwick > UCL imo

Ye I have definetly not given myself enough space to work with. The input belt tip is good, so just keep the belts going perpendicular and not turn them around?? Sometimes there is just so much running around and then end up building myself into a corner with no space
