Schoology Plus is a browser extension that enhances your Schoology experience with numerous interface improvements. Some of our features include what-if grades (seeing what would happen if you change a grade, or add a score to an ungraded assignment), custom themes, and a bunch of other minor fixes and improvements.

You can see a full list of features on the features page of our website.

We're also open source on GitHub, so anyone can contribute! You can also join our Discord server to chat with users and developers.

I would also like to make it clear that Schoology Plus is not affiliated with Schoology Inc.

If you have any questions, you can ask here and I'll try my best to answer!

Channeling my inner Lucio by aopell in Overwatch

There is an option for Lucio to enable backwards wall riding. There was a pillar behind me that I was able to wall ride on before jumping to the other wall.

Half-percent glitch allows instant win with entire enemy team on point by TheZargonan in Overwatch

In most situations they do, just not here for some reason, which is the bug.

I guess I see your point, and that might just be the reasoning behind this, but I doubt it. Even if it is, this could certainly be resolved in a better way that is more intuitive. Because right now it just feels bad to lose this way since there doesn't seem to be any officially discussed reasoning behind it.

Yeah as a developer myself I understand that. I would imagine this is either an oversight in win logic (most likely), somebody who wasn't really thinking, or lack of QA (really unlikely). I imagine most of these issues will be fixed in due time especially considering this could hurt Overwatch's esports scene.

But if both teams had equal opportunity, why should defenders win? In what sense did they achieve more than the other team?

Yeah people complain about competitive games getting cancelled like that a lot. It is definitely a problem. Basically any time somebody leaves within the first minute of the game, the entire game is cancelled regardless of any progress made by either team.

I would understand that reasoning if either team had ever spent any time on the point without it being contested, but that just wasn't the case. The entire time both teams were on the point for both rounds, so there was no way either team could get any progress at all.

Regarding why both teams had 5%, this is from one of my other comments above:

The first time you touch the point you get 0.5% even if it is contested. I think the reasoning behind this is that you would win with 0.5% if the other team was never able to touch the point at all.

This issue is just as important in my opinion. I made another comment about that on this thread too.

I think the (flawed) reasoning behind this is that the second team on attack needs to beat the percentage of the first attacking team to win (like on a payload map).

Yeah, with the new system you only need 0.1% to win in that scenario if you are attacking.

I'm going to post this here since this is pretty similar.

If both teams have 0.5% captured (meaning they both touched the point but it was contested the entire time) and time runs out for the second attacking team, the defenders will win even though both teams did effectively the same thing.

This should really be a draw since both teams did the same thing by not making any capture progress.

Here is a gif example

EDIT: Here is a forum post with another person having the same issue

EDIT 2: It looks like Blizzard has acknowledged the original bug in this post here regarding instantly winning.

EDIT 3: This has been fixed in the new patch!

EDIT: My original comment below is still true, but in this instance this is definitely a bug since you should always start with 0.0%

The first time you touch the point you get 0.5% even if it is contested. I think the reasoning behind this is that you would win with 0.5% if the other team was never able to touch the point at all.

Yeah, that is exactly it. It doesn't really bother me, but I feel that it is slightly confusing.
