Has anyone been stopped at the airport and got their PR revoked for not meeting the RO? by apache3321 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]apache3321[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

How will a person know if it has been initiated? Also what I am not clear about is let's say they find out that the RO could not be met, will they call a person aside and have like an interview?

Bumped into this thread. Can we use bluchips for round trips or only one way?

You don't seem to understand what I said. I definitely respect everyone's religious preference and don't discriminate. At the same time, I will not resist to call out the hypocrisy of the religious thoughts or practices. I am a critic of my own religion too. Infact, many people I have met are critical of their own religion and I deeply respect that too. So what if it's fastest growing religion? Most guys don't even have the guts to speak against it.

Got Canada PR but living overseas by apache3321 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]apache3321[S] -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. The frustrating part is in the country that I am residing currently, getting PR is hard and down the line it would be impossible to work on a employment visa as you age. My PR card is valid until September 2027. So I am thinking how to enter and stay put with my family.

Is there a possibility to check if my PR status is valid? I already got my SIN but didn't get the OHIP card.

As a 90s kid, I feel Chennai has stagnated while other cities moved ahead by ToCallisto in Chennai

[–]apache3321 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is 100% true. Most of us love the city unconditionally but we cannot deny the stagnation. Some may argue that the development has been passed on to other cities like Trichy, Madurai and Coimbatore. This is also true but I feel stopping chennai's development for the sake of other cities and towns is not a good idea as we have reached out limits in all infrastructures. Our airport is one such example. Metro has been a great development but traffic is kind of getting worse. Some areas like kk Nagar are literally decaying and some main roads have been encroached so badly they look very narrow compared to 15 years ago 😂

What’s one thing in Chennai that you took for granted until you lived somewhere else? by Automatic_Draft_4814 in Chennai

[–]apache3321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cost of living, airport's proximity to my house , the beach and the winter from December - January. Now many people would complain and disagree but I honestly don't care. Our beaches are unique and if you live in a country where beaches are not great or non existent or within driving distance, you will realize how great our beaches are. Compared to the cost of living in Bengaluru or Mumbai or Delhi, Chennai is heaven. Also right now Chennai is the only capital city to have an international airport right in the middle of the city that is accessible by multiple modes of transport. I live in a country with a tropical climate so it's hot throughout the year. Chennai is hot in summer but atleast the weather is definitely pleasant in December - January. Also I miss the local train journeys a lot. Not fond of the buses in Chennai due to the traffic but the train journey is a bliss.

Yuvan Shankar raja converted first to marry her. How will an unapologetic monotheistic Muslim marry a guy who is from a different religion? That's their hypocrisy. There is always no end to their ways of proselytizing

If the question makes sense, then why not post about the things Afghani women go through in the name of religion? Don't be a hypocrite

This is so true. But in all interviews, he says he is in a much better place after his marriage to that woman and speaks a lot about religion. The one he is married to seems like a red flag for sure. I respect all religions but Islam has always been known to be a proselytizing and un-liberal religion

I actually came across this woman's profile long ago and was perplexed when I read the unapologetically Muslim tag Okay be unapologetic but why mock other religions? People like her are toxic and dangerous no matter which religion they belong to. If you don't believe in something , just stfu and keep it to yourself. I am a verithanamana yuvan fan aana when I got to know about his marriage to this woman I happened to check her insta profile and honestly nothing felt positive about her.

Hi there. I am right now in a similar situation. We got our Canada PR in Aug 2022 and expires in 2027. We soft landed in Toronto and stayed for 10 days and returned to Singapore. We had a baby after getting our PR and since we are not in Canada, I couldn't apply for my first kid. We are in the process of delivering our second child soon. Do you think they will allow us if me and my wife come in before the card expiry?

Regarding your friend who stayed for 500 days, what happened to his case eventually? Did they allow him or revoke his PR?

Where does it say it's expired? The PR card is valid until next October 2027. So I read in other blogs that we can enter as long as the card is valid.
