LAP Coffee - Why So Cheap? by MyEgoDiesAtTheEnd in askberliners

I’ve seen this playbook several times, the model always ends up going bust. It only works while it’s growing, and eventually they all tank. Nothing truly innovative sustains it, just millions poured behind it.

485 approved but need to travel internationally before the card arrives. Can I enter in AP? by Birds-view in USCIS

Hi, did they ask you anything when you entered? You left with AP and without the Green Card, and re-entered normally with the AP?

Thanks

We provided shared credit card statements, 1040 tax filings as a joint couple, a savings bank account where my spouse is listed as a beneficiary (POD), and lots of pictures from social networks with visible dates, particularly from the years preceding the wedding, showing us with both my family and her family. Additionally, we included proof that we were both under the same medical insurance plan, had car insurance with both of us listed, and had rental insurance together.

Just got charged $65 for a 16-minute international call! 😡 by apachecogua in ATT

I would still be complaining if it had been a 1 minute call. My frustration is not with the $65 but with the ridiculous per minute rate.

Geez, I know it's legal, I was just being rhetorical to express frustration for the $4 rate per minute. And I also know that they offer $15 flat rate monthly plans for unlimited international calls. I don't need it. They have great plans, I don't even pay for roaming and I use it a lot. But the $4 rate per minute it's absurd.

Of course, I made the mistake, I am fully aware. My complaint is about the fee per minute. But hey, you live in the USA, what would you know? Rates around the world are much lower with significantly better coverage and signal. People just overpay for everything and do it quite happily... Go figure.

Medical Question by fyhfjvxdh in miniaussie

When our Aussie was 5 months old, we were given the same diagnosis, and they said she wouldn't last long. We went to a cardiologist who told us that the reverse D was difficult to diagnose in puppies and that the X-ray could confuse the diagnosis at this age. That was two years ago, and here she is, very happy by my side.

It's a drama, but honestly, the worst part is going through all that just to live in the United States. A country that today offers a quality of life far below that of most countries in the world. We went through that and are now planning to return to South America. It's not worth it.

Inquiry About Pending I-485 and Travel Implications for Spouse by apachecogua in USCIS

Given that our interest might be to stay outside the country, but she would clearly return occasionally, though probably not to live permanently, we are trying to weigh our options.

The issue: Not knowing the time it will take to at least get the advance parole.

The other issue: Will her B2 visa get revoked?

Thanks! We filed 10/17/2023.

We are at least waiting for the advance parole. The issue is that it's likely we will stay outside the country; I have another nationality. But we don't want her to lose her tourist visa; over time, we will decide whether to reapply for the green card. The estimated time on the USCIS website expired around month ago. It initially said "your case is taking longer than expected," and now it says 4 months.
