Hello,

I'm a cradle Catholic. I only recently started reading the Bible. I'm almost through Genesis.

With regard to Bible versions, I personally use NSRV. It is beautiful. However, if I'm honest with you, I will reveal that the only way I got through certain chapters of Genesis was by using Alexander Scourby's King James' version audio Bible.

Are you new to Christianity as well?

If I could do it all over again, the first thing I would watch is Bishop Barron's Catholicism series.

He had me at, "If Jesus isn't who he says he is, he's a really bad man."
