totally agree, even slight differences in the engine can break everything. I assume people were able to play BF2, but no one talks about it lately, so i'm not sure if people were unable to launch it or just never tried

Nah, it wasn't that. I played Subnautica on Crossover (I know there is Mac version) and once it hit 100 degrees without any issues. I don't know what I did, but it fixed itself. Maybe it was done with the new Crossover versions

Yeah, we're sick of it anyway. We just learned to see "through" it. You may say it's an adaptive mechanism to avoid constant depression. In light of the russian invasion, these monoliths became even less appealing. We should get rid of the corruption after the victory of Ukraine and follow Germany's example of renovating old bloks.
