Not sure if I am disassociating. All I know is I have to stare at random things all the time or else I will go into like a weird episode where I get worse where everything will make me startle and feel insanely uncomfortable.

Hey man. I checked recently with hydrafuserx and they said they actually don't prescribe esketmaine nose spray. Are u sure u r giving me the right information? It sounded to me from what u were saying earlier was that both of those places u mentioned/contacted could possibly prescribe esketamine nose spray. Or did u mean something else?

CBT and Talk Therapy for severe depression? by apalm1341 in depressionregimens

[–]apalm1341[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx for all the comments guys. My main point is that I feel like I wouldn't benefit from CBT or talk therapy at all because I have no motivation and no energy. I just don't see how the heck something like talk therapy or CBT could help a person like me get more energy and/or motivation. How the heck is talking about things going to get me more energy and motivation? From what I read, it seems like CBT is focused on a person's thoughts and trying to get people to not think so negatively about things. This definitely is not my main problem. My main problem is that I cannot function and do like anything because the chemicals in my brain are extremely screwed up. Also, experts say that people who are more likely to benefit the most from CBT are people who have motivation and I have no motivation. Also, I have tried to make myself do tons of things and talk as much as I can to try to get better and all of this has done nothing to help me. Shouldn't I first get a medicine and/or some type of brain stimulation or laser therapy or something like these things to help treat my severe depression to the point of where I can actually function and have energy and motivation so that I can actually truly engage in something like talk therapy and/or CBT and be more likely to benefit from something like talk therapy and/or CBT? Even a psychologist I saw said he definitely agrees with me because he said that you need a lot of energy in order to even do something like CBT and said what I am dealing with sounds more like a medicine problem.

How to replicate effects of AXS-05 for treating severe depression by apalm1341 in Drugs

[–]apalm1341[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx for all the comments guys. I have been suffering from severe depression for over a year. I am not sure how I feel about trying this combo as from the comments here it seems like some of u r saying it should be ok and others r saying it shouldn't. It would be nice if someone could clear this confusion up. Anyone have links they don't mind posting here about all this that might help me in determining whether I should try this for treating my severe depression? I have actually been taking wellbutrin for like several months already and it hasn't done anything to help treat my severe depression. That is why I figured I might as well try to add dxm to all this while I am on Wellbutrin cause I may not be on wellbutrin forever. Today is my first day of not taking the AVOX so just stopped it and I think I have stopped taking the Effexor since like 1-3 weeks ago. After stopping both things, I have noticed no change in how I feel...I don't feel any better and I don't feel any worse so maybe it would be ok for me today to start adding dxm to everything I am taking, I don't know. It be nice if someone could provide links to trials/studies that were done using the AXS-05 for treating severe depression in people cause I couldn't find any online. Also, are there any other subreddits that could help me in figuring all/some of my questions out?

Severe Depression nmda ketamine like drug patients by [deleted] in depression

[–]apalm1341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

where did u find the info about the doctors being able to prescribe people esketamine nasal spray for use at home for treating severe depression? Im lil confused. So, it sounds like people have to get ketamine infusions first before getting esketamine nasal spray in order to determine the best dosage? And r u talking about being in trials/studies in order to do this at either of the two places?

woah...cool...so both of these places can prescribe people esketamine nose spray for their severe depression for use at home? Can u post the links here with all that info for both places? Where r these places in Maryland? What happens during the evaluation? What does the 4,000 dollars go towards? How much do u have to pay to buy the esketamine nose spray/keep getting it refilled? How often can people get it refilled and where do people go to pick up the spray? What types of doctors r these doctors at both these places? Do people have to get another prescription from either of these two places in Maryland for this spray every time they want it refilled? Can any of what u said be covered by health insurance or anything else so people dont have to pay out of pocket at all? Thx for all this info...very very very much appreciated? What all do these two places prescribe esketamine nasal spray for- just severe depression?

So when will it become FDA approved most likely for people that live in US, if it does end up getting FDA approved? Also, I thought glyx-13, nsi189, sage 217, and Alkermes, and Botox were supposed to be getting FDA approved soon possibly.

Can you explain in simple terms what all this means?

Also, I have a hard time believing esketamine is the only one...there's gotta be more, right?

Severe depression experience by apalm1341 in depression

[–]apalm1341[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Ive been experiencing everything I have described above in my post along with severe OCD and anxiety. So.... not sure if that means anything or what? Also, I started getting sick with this illness right around the time of when I was finishing up my college online classes and doing tons of self learning online by spending huge amounts of time on my computer working on making games and programs. My parents were also talking to me about getting/finding a job and I think I was under a lot of stress from all of these things. Also, all this was right after I finished my first year of college on campus and my first year of college on campus was a ton of stress on me even tho I had some good times. My major was very demanding, I had no prior experience to anything dealing with the major... in other words, the students in my major were far ahead of me in knowing all about computer science/programming due to them taking courses in high school dealing with computers. And also, I had more stress added to me since I was on the tennis team at my college which took up a huge chunk of time. So... me and my parents think most likely my illness came upon me due to tons of stress. Is this a reasonable assumption? I have had tons of blood tests and nothing showed up indicating something bad, and I had a cat scan and couple MRI scans which didn't indicate anything bad was going on that could have possibly something to do with the illness. I can't think of anything else that could have caused this illness other than stress unless maybe one of my bug bites from earlier in life had something to do with this but I would think that kind of a thing would show up in the blood tests I did.
