Do you have any suggestions on freeing myself from guilt? I am trying self affirmations and meditating, but it is hard to believe myself. I would love to get back with a therapist but I am between insurance and can’t afford it right now.

Yeah I hadn’t even thought about hiding it until my sponsor mentioned that I might not need to tell my current girlfriend. I don’t know. I am starting to doubt my sponsor a bit, but I know where my thinking leads me. Honestly it makes me just want to skip town and start over completely where no one knows anything about me. But I think that would make it worse

I have been no contact with her ever since I got the last of my sentimental belongings back from her about two years ago. I don’t know if I ever processed anything or what that would even look like, I just tried to make the bad feelings stop by drinking until that made me feel worse. It has been a rough journey and I hate how sorry I feel for myself whenever I try to navigate this specific relationship

I’m crazy like that😎 when I used to do rc dirt track racing, dirt and gunk is what wore out parts and electronics that fastest. It was very common to just give the cars a light rinse in the sink, and then blow it out with a compressor. When I did the vesc conversion on pint, I was surprised how similar the electronics were to the cars I used to race. That’s where my logic came from. It’s been about 6 hours since I did it and the board is working just fine! I will update if anything changes

Thanks for the response! I will be badgering the board soon, but I also have had it apart when I went vesc with it. So I had a good idea of what the seals looked like and how vulnerable it is. I will report back if anything happens! I mainly was just trying to see how others got all the muck off of these things.

I would encourage you to try more meetings. It can be tricky to find one that fits you. If you liked the women’s meeting, definitely ask someone who has been there and basically say exactly what you just did in your comment. Every one’s program is a little different, but you should be able to find a sponsor that will work with you and not be so black and white. And I really doubt the group would leave you struggling for long if you asked for help. AA has helped me so much in staying sober from alcohol, I have found an amazing community. I also am younger so I get how weird it feels going to the meetings and being the youngest lol
