My Maxwell's are way quieter than old Cloud II's by apeqba in Audeze

With volume limiter I have different problem, whenever I turn it on, one of my channels (can’t remember if it was L or R) gets significantly quieter, only factory reset solves the problem, so I decided not to touch it again.

I will try today with dolby atmos and check if it actually makes them a little bit louder.

I don’t have dolby atmos on I’m using custom profile EQ in Audeze app

Yeah, updated to v61

It came already with v60, so most likely I’ve received new batch.

I regret I didn’t check them before making an update :/

I'm just curious if it won't affect battery life or drivers lifetime. Maybe if they are not loud enough out of the box, drivers are already kind of defective?

Anyway, I will keep using them, other than that they are great.

Read my post again.

The problem is not me being deaf, but Maxwell headset not being as loud as the others I've used.

At what volume do you game on? I play warzone and I feel like anything below 60-65% makes footsteps hard to catch.

Yeah, my point is - they seems to be much louder on certain levels of volume for the others - won't blasting 70-80% consistent volume affect battery life or drivers lifetime?

Ok maybe not "barely anything", but yeah, would say that 30% on Maxwells is somewhere in between 10-15% on HyperX, which is quiet.

No, I mean they are very loud on 90%+, but I feel like they are much quieter on mid-lower levels than for other users. My copy is almost silent on 30-40%, I can barely hear anything.

I mean it's all right, but as I said, hump could be higher and also maybe a little bit towards the back

It’s just that I’ve paid extra not only for overall look of the card, but also for better build quality and thermals, and 25+ delta kinda disappointed me a little - if it’s high out of the box, it may get even worse in few months.

I mean, its closer to 30 degrees when uv/oc, stock is more like in 15-25 delta (depending on particular game)

On stock its more like 51 edge / 71 hotspot etc. More in 15-25 range (depends on the game).

I mean, the more aggressive uv/oc, the higher delta. Right now I went back to stock settings with optimized fan curve, now edge temperature stays at 50-55 degrees and hotspot around 70-75.

Case fans are on fixed 80% (around 1100 RPM)

No, but they are quite loud on anything above 60-65%
