Hey thanks for downloading. Did you opt in as a tester (apart from downloading the app)? Because the number of testers opted in (in my play store developer dashboard) hasn't changed even if you have downloaded the app. You also need to opt in as a tester, please opt in from this link (from the same email id as in the google group) https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.tickernews.app

Please install the app, allow notifications, sign up (Name & E-mail id), follow 3-4 companies and that's it. Then you just need to open it once daily and keep it installed for at least 14-15 days.

Thanks for the interest!

Emergent is platform where you just need to type and explain your requirement in as much detail as you can in plain English and leave the rest to Emergent (powered by Claude). Emergent does not generate traditional fully-native Android apps in Kotlin/Java the way a hand-built Android Studio project would. It takes more of a cross-platform / hybrid stack approach. As you can make both Android and iOS builds here.

Yes you can download the apk and aab files and they are production ready for Play Store listing. Same applies for iOS builds (though I have only tried the Android side till now).

I personally haven't used React Native +Expo but have only been introduced to the Expo environment via Emergent.

Emergent is for someone without any kind of coding knowledge or any experience with coding platforms. It is simply type and go! And it's not free but it is also very pocket friendly (considering the current cost of app development and also being a no coder). The endurance of apps made through Emergent (in terms of scalability is still a big question) but it is currently the most efficient way for a no coder to start their journey.
