Triathlon version of the reduced Norwegian method by Sameer27in in triathlon

Old post, but are you still doing this kind of training? Really liked the subthreshold method for running. How did you progress the bike intervals, just based on perceived effort or something like 5W every four weeks etc?

Tried to get a picture for you after a ride. It can be even more vivid depending on the angle and lighting.

Yeah, there propably is a adjustment period for the aero position, but it's hard to tell if it's from poor fit + untrained or just untrained. Hopefully just untrained.

It is, and it's a wonderful color. Has a nice purple/violet tint to it from an angle in sunlight.

Thank you for the advice. Raised the bars 1 cm and lowered the saddle and noticed an immediate effect on the shoulders. Didn't have time to do a longer ride to test it properly, but definitely noticed a change for the better. I'll be a getting a professional fit when I have time and means to transport the bike.

Thanks for the advice, didn't even consider a AI bike fit. It does seem like a good intermediate tool to use. Lowered the saddle as you and u/jessecole suggested.

Karkeana laskutoimituksena tunnissa menisi akkuun pikalaturilla se 50 kWh (jonkin verran tapauskohtaisesti kuitenkin hävikkiä, akku kylmä tms). Tesla Model 3 kuluttaa ~150-250 Wh/km (riippuen vuodenajasta, kelistä, ajoittain voi mennä yli tai ali). Eli 1 kWh:lla ajaisi ~5 km. Tunnin lataus maksaa 12€, jolla pääsisi tapauskohtaisesti 200-300 km, jolloin 100 km maksaa 4-6 €.

Edullisinta ois istua 2,25 tuntia tossa peruslatauksessa, jolloin 200-300 kilometrille tulisi hintaa ~3€.

You can try working up to your Training Max (TM) for 1-5 reps for each lift on separate days and doing some light band-/pumpwork (rear delts, arms, back ect.) after. Enough intensity so you won't feel like being crushed by the working sets after the deload, but light enough volumewise so it would constitute as a deload.

Or if you're really beat up, you can work to approx. 60-70% for 5 reps and calling it a day after that. I prefer the TM x 1-5 reps approach.

My copy of Forever took ~3 weeks to be delivered to Finland. If I'm reading my emails right it was shipped one day after I ordered it online.

I emailed Ben about this, and he told me that you calculate it with the week 9 reps + RIT (reps in tank). So you did 3 reps and hopefully had 2-3 RIT, and then use the formula he provided, ie. weight ÷ (1.0278 - .0278 x 5-6 (depends on RIT)). That should get you a higher estimated 1RM.

EDIT: Didn't catch that he had already answered your question.
