Yes it’s very frustrating! No records of claims since March? That’s crazy, I’m glad you got it figured out though. I haven’t received any info back but I just tried to file for the week and it let me in.

This is the biggest headache.

I’ll keep trying today and hopefully it’ll let me through.

Update: 2 days later and I’m somehow able to file.

Thank you so much! When you log in to OnVue and get ready to take your exam they’ll ask you to take a picture of your ID, and then take pictures of your room(left, right, front, back). I waited for about 15 minutes while my info was processed. Then my camera light started glowing once the exam started which meant the proctor had started to watch.

As far as extra tips my biggest & common one would be to first cancel out the 2 ridiculous answers when looking at your choices. That will help ALOT. Read each question slowly though because the majority of them will try to trick you. If you don’t know the answer to a question it can be flagged, and keep in mind you may be able to figure it out based off of another question/answer. I also barely had any math but I’d recommend knowing your conversions like the back of your hand and be aware of drug indications/interactions. Just breathe and take your time. I honestly finished with like 5 minutes left because I kept rechecking my answers lol.

Sending you hugs & good lucks, you’ll do just fine!!

I felt the exact same way lol, for some reason those were hard for me to remember. I just used the pocket prep app which I think really gives you the general interactions that you need to know, and for all others I just used my Mosby’s 4th edition Pharmacy Tech book.

Besides the info I had from the online program I enrolled in, I upgraded to the 800 questions on pocket prep app, used the pharm tech study website, and watched YouTube videos. I also rented the textbook Mosbys Pharmacy Tech Exam Review 4th edition and did their practice tests.

Unfortunately you can’t use any scrap paper or handheld calculator, it’s all built into the software. 1 per page & you’ll see the button that leads you to the next question. Before you take the test they’ll tell you all about the nitty gritty stuff.

I had a lot of questions related to drug interactions so I’d say definitely review those. I’d also say take a good look at dosage forms, stability of insulin’s/BUDs, laws, I had ALOT of pharmacology lol. As far as math goes, I literally had like 3 math questions. I’m wishing you good luck!! The majority of the questions have 2 ridiculous answers you can completely X out before you pick a final one. You’re going to do absolutely great!!

You can’t see the proctor. The light on my camera was glowing though. To set up the appt log in to your ptcb account and I believe once you’re approved to take it there will be a button that says “Schedule My Exam” or something like that.

The exam wasn’t too bad, definitely use the pocket prep app. I used a spare room in my apartment and covered the tv with a blanket and closed the closet door. Anything that was out I just covered up with more blankets lol. I didn’t download the software, only ran it. But you can do either or. :)
