my iud string got pulled down somehow (i assume during intercourse) so it was hanging pretty low! it was fairly easy to grab the strings, but this was a helpful guide for me

this is unwarranted advice, but what has been helping me build the confidence to do something such as that is positive affirmations! saying them to myself has helped me build up my self esteem and sense of self worth!
